Cancellations, Substitutions and Refunds for WLS 2026

All cancellations, refund requests and substitutions must be made in writing and submitted to CustomerService@OctoberResearch.com. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of the written request.

Important Dates and Details:

  • The Emotional Quotient (EQ) Assessment is non-refundable.
  • There is no charge to substitute registrant(s) for WLS 2026, but we must be notified prior to October 23, 2026.
  • Cancellation requests received on or before August 27, 2026, are eligible for a refund minus a $100 processing fee.
  • Cancellation requests received between August 28, 2026 and September 25, 2026, are eligible for a refund minus a $200 processing fee.
  • Cancellations received on or after September 26, 2026, and for no-shows, no refund will be provided.
  • We do not offer registration rollovers to a different year or event.

Program Cancellation

In the unlikely event of program cancellation by October Research, LLC or due to Force Majeure, October Research will only refund the cost of a registrant’s meeting registration fee. October Research, LLC assumes no liability for any penalty fees on airline tickets, hotel accommodations, or any other fees, charges, penalties or other incidental costs that a registrant might incur as a consequence of a program cancellation.

Conference Admission

To provide the best possible experience for our registered attendees and ensure fairness to those who have paid for access, all individuals must wear their official conference name badge at all times while in conference areas including the exhibitor floor or while attending any sessions or conference sponsored events. This includes registered attendees, sponsors and guests.


Communications & Marketing Policies

Photo / Video Release
October Research, LLC reserves the right to use photos / video taken at WLS by individuals under its hire for future promotional purposes. By registering for WLS, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this photo release statement.

Registration Contact Details
By registering for WLS, you agree to October Research, LLC sharing your contact information (name, title, city and state you provided when registering for WLS) with sponsors for the purposes of follow up about your interests. You may opt out of sharing your information with sponsors during the registration process.

Your company name will be listed on the website as a registered attendee.

Media Policy

All media outlets intending to cover an October Research conference session must obtain prior approval from the editorial director before attending the session(s). The editorial director will inform journalists if the session is open to outside media, including print, video and audio coverage of the session.

Violation of this policy may result in your removal from the event and the denial of entry to future October Research conferences. We appreciate your cooperation in following this policy.

Code of Conduct

In order to provide a professional, engaging and productive event, October Research requires all Attendees to comply with the Events Code of Conduct. Harassment and discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated and may result in the consequences outlined below. Attendees are expected to treat everyone around them, regardless if they are connected with the event itself, with consideration and respect.

Expected Conduct
October Research expects Attendees will refrain from inappropriate behavior. This can include but is not limited to:

  • Making unwelcome sexual advances physically or verbally
  • Making threats or in any way deliberately intimidating another attendee
  • Participating in harassing or discriminatory behavior against someone’s gender, race, national origin, age, pregnancy status, military or veteran status, marital status, physical or mental disability, personal appearance, sexual orientation, political affiliation and other legally protected characteristics
  • Any form of physical assault
  • Destruction of property
  • Drinking in an irresponsible manner
  • Knowingly and falsely reporting violations of the Events Code of Conduct
  • Retaliating against another participant for reporting a violation of the Events Code of Conduct

Reporting Procedure
Any Attendee wishing to report a breach of the Events Code of Conduct should report violation to October Research staff as soon as possible after the incident. Staff members witnessing or receiving a report of such conduct will immediately notify the appropriate authorities. All reports will be taken seriously and addressed as soon as possible. Retaliatory actions against those reporting incidents will not be tolerated and will also be subject to consequences.

Consequences
Attendees notified of the violation to the Events Code of Conduct will be expected to stop their behavior promptly. If they continue to violate the Events Code of Conduct, October Research staff reserves the right to expel them from the conference, notify employers and law enforcement professionals as needed. This could also result in a ban from future October Research events.
